Tanya & Robert
Tanya and Robert set out to plan the perfect vintage wedding to top any other, and knew that, from the moment they saw it, only the Bourne Mansion would fit the “bill” for their 1930’s Hollywood feel. The Bourn Mansion, since run by Lessing’s Waterfront Mansions, they knew would provide the exception atmosphere and cuisine that they desired; all they need do is fill in the rest of the regal, red-carpet details.
Wishing to be 1930’s red-carpet ready; the bride decided to go with a mermaid style, ivory tulle embellished Lazaro gown, with flowers cascading down the back for a touch of the unexpected. She dressed her bridal party in similar, satin gowns; mermaid in style, with black for the bridesmaids and the maid of honor in a deep red. Add dazzling black jewelry to match to create a stunning vision of vintage glamour.
Ceremony of ivory and white, followed by a deep, decadent reception in reds and black created a dramatic, opposites effect and a vintage Rolls Royce completed the evens effect as the happy couple drove away into the night.
